Hello,

I really like the Cinegobs program, but I'm having an issue with it crashing when loading my image sequences.

I have 63 JPG images in a directory of green screen shots. I'll select "Import Video/Image Sequence", and load all the files up. I'll then make sure "Col-diff" is selected, and then adjust my black threshold in the color difference menu until it's adjusted right. If I then browse the images by dragging the frames dial, Cinegobs crashes by the 7th or 8th image, giving this information:

Error Signature

EventType : clr20r3     P1 : cinegobs keyer.exe     P2 : 2.2.4.113
P3 : 49f980dc     P4 : cinegobs keyer     P5 : 2.2.4.113     P6 : 49f980dc
P7 : 1b9     P8 : 381     P9 : system.accessviolationexception

The same thing happens when I just simply try to render the images. It will begin to render them, and then crash again by the 7th or 8th image.

I've tried sizing down the images to a much smaller size, changing the format from JPG to BMP or PNG, loading less amounts of images at one time… no matter what, it still crashes. Running Windows XP Home SP3 with 3GB of RAM.

Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Hi,

I never had any crashes myself with image sequences. Are all images in the sequence the same size etc. Could you email me some of the problematic images?

Does AviSynth work with your keyer on Windows 7? We are getting a "not responding" error when trying to import a captured AVI file.

Thanks

Bo you're right, that was the problem. All of the images I was working with appeared to be the same dimensions, but when I checked, some were actually a few pixels different in size. Resizing them all fixed the issue.

Thanks very much for the help!
